But it's a lot more powerful than it looks. This item is great for mixing or stirring liquids of any lite duty jobs. This is a very handed item, it has help me tremendously. I suffered a stroke and now only have the use of one hand. The only thing that it didn't acheive for me was mixing pancake mix.
It feels a bit cheap, looks a bit cheap.heck, it was cheap. But it works well has surprisingly fast speed, lacks torque (power to get through thicker fluids.definitely not shakes), but works as advertised.
I don't know if it's worth the bother to request a repalcemnt. Not practical for mixing with the one. The straight attachment wobbles and takes a 2nd hand to get it going. The metal one works great. I used one of these years ago and it took a while to figure out what search terms to use. It's fine for what it is but I'd pay a dollar more for better construction. The others are similarly cheap in construction.
It is small and compact. Great for quickly mixing a single cup. Very nice wisk. Best of all it is cordless.
My advise. I ordered and got a new one from Amazon, who should NOT be embarassed for selling it. Do not buy this "mixer". I could not think of any practical task for it, so I finally decided to removed my batteries (they, at least, were worth something) and banish it to the "junk drawer". We have had one for years.
I tried mixing 2 eggs with a little milk for an omelet, and it struggled with that simple task. This contraption should be a total embarrassment to the Chinese who made it and to Amazon who sold it. Save your money. Ours worked quite well for light mixing jobs until the rechargeable battery finally packed it in. This thing is a joke--perhaps it was intended for a child's toy.
While removing the batteries the thing fell apart in my hands, so I just chucked it into the trash. If you need a cordless mixer, you might instead consider a Gizmo cordless mixer by Black and Decker.
